The short version
There are no accounts and no ads, and our pages set no cookies. Ore Front saves your difficulty and your finished matches in your own browser, and doesn't send them to us. Our pages have no tracking or visitor-counting code. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, shows us totals, such as how many pages were opened. If you email us, we use your message only to answer it and act on it.
What stays in your browser
Ore Front saves two things in your browser's storage, on your device:
- the difficulty you last picked;
- your finished matches: your wins, losses, best score and fastest win on each difficulty, and your last 8 matches, each with its result, difficulty and score, the credit values the score is worked out from (enemies you destroyed, units you built and what you lost), how long it took and the date and time it ended.
They stay in your browser. The game doesn't send them to us or to anyone else.
To delete them, clear this site's data in your browser's settings. Some browsers, such as Safari, may also delete them by themselves if you haven't visited for a while.
If you open the game inside another app, like Instagram or TikTok, that app's browser keeps its own separate copy.
Visitor numbers
Our pages have no tracking or visitor-counting code, and they set no cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, counts visits as it sends out our pages, and shows us totals, such as how many pages were opened, roughly how many visitors came and from which countries. We use these totals to see which pages people use.
Who else handles your information
Cloudflare hosts this site. To send you our pages and to protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare handles your IP address (the number your internet connection uses) and the details your browser sends each time it asks for a page, such as which page it asked for. Cloudflare does this for us under a contract, its data processing agreement. Your data may pass through Cloudflare's servers in other countries on the way, so that contract includes the rules the EU and the UK set for protecting data sent abroad (called the Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum).
Our pages, pictures and fonts all come from this site, so your browser doesn't contact Google, or any company other than Cloudflare, to show them.
Google handles our email. If you email us, your message is delivered to and kept in our mailbox at Google, and our replies are sent from it. Google's privacy policy explains how Google handles it.
If you email us
We use your email address and your message only to answer you and to act on what you tell us, such as fixing a bug you report. We delete them within 13 months.
Why we use it
For readers in the EU and the UK, the law asks us to say why we're allowed to use your information. Each reason below is what the law calls a "legitimate interest": a fair reason of our own, which the law allows as long as it doesn't outweigh your rights.
- your IP address: to send you our pages and keep the site safe;
- visitor totals: to know which pages people use;
- your email: to answer messages you send us and act on them.
What the game saves stays in your browser, and we don't receive it.
Your choices
You can delete what the game saved at any time (see What stays in your browser). You can ask us for a copy of the information we have about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it, by emailing hello@fogfrontgames.com. There are no accounts, so an email you sent us is usually the only thing we can look up.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the government body in charge of privacy where you live.
Children
Our games are made for a general audience aged 13 and over. There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your name or age. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before you email us. If we learn that an email came from a child under 13, we delete it.
Who is responsible
Fogfront Games is run by Summercloude Pte. Ltd., a company in Singapore. For any privacy question, or to reach our data protection officer (the person who looks after privacy for us), email hello@fogfrontgames.com.
Changes
If anything here changes, for example if we add advertising, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change happens.
